Our Middle School
Middle Stage
Ages between 11- 14 years in Grade 6 to 8
The middle school emphasizes subject-oriented learning style and critical learning across science, maths, arts, social science and humanities. Classroom subjects are explored in an integrated way the curriculum of all the academic subjects as well as a variety of co-curricular activities that encourage creativity, aesthetics and adventure.
SVVS at the Middle School aims to
- Develop individual interest and skills in different areas
- Regular teaching with supplemented Educational Tours to Historical places and museums in India and abroad.
- Collaborative learning
- Teaching-learning strategies involving workshops, seminars, talks, presentations, group discussions, etc.
- Develop the connection between daily life and critical thinking
- To understand different varieties of prose, poetry, drama, and non-fiction texts and Grammar.
- Creative writing, making drafts, editing reports, journals and essay writing.
- Emphasize practical knowledge and experimentation in science
- To train the students in problem-solving, logical reasoning and analytical skills.
